Senior Adult Ministry
The Senior Adults of Konnoak Baptist Church have many opportunities for spiritual and social growth. We offer events that are of particular interest to older adults such as luncheons, fellowship, trips and theatre. Bible study options are also provided.
HAPPY AGERS LUNCH
The Happy Agers met October 18th for a fall lunch and entertainment. Hamburgers were cooked on the grill and served with add the trimmings.
Dr. Robert Wiseman, the new pastor of Konnoak Hills United Methodist Church, provided entertainment. Dr. Wiseman, who plays several instruments, performed on the guitar.
He has played with several well-known groups,, as well as with singer, Ronnie Milsap.
In November we will be going to the Wohlfahrt Haus Dinner Theater in Wytheville, VA to see the Christmas Holiday Spectacular. |
